Boys will be boys, but can you turn them into the kind of man you’d like them to be? Although some things about men can be easily considered as facts, some aspects of them can be changed, for the better.
Yes you can change a man especially when he is aware that there are other aspects in his life that needs to be improved. It’s not about turning your boyfriend or partner, into someone he’s not—it’s about discovering and exploring his potential. Even though not all men are deeply in touch with themselves, those who value the way others see them know how important it is to work on themselves.
Women have a certain effect on men that drives them to become better (“You make me want to be a better man” ring a bell?), especially in the early days of a relationship. However, this can only end in two ways: the man realizes he has become the best version of himself, or he finds himself pretending to be someone he’s not.
Only a man who knows he’s a work in progress, like we all are, can be changed.
Women point out a man’s flaws not to embarrass him but let him know, “Hey, you can do better than that!” It’s not about “creating” the man of our dreams: What girls really want is for her and her man, to grow together, and become better for each other.
If a woman tries to change a man, it doesn’t mean she, the girlfriend, doesn’t accept him for who he is. It means she cares for him enough to want him to be the best he can be.
